A Note about silver pricing

We hear a lot about the cost of gold being so high, but did you know that silver prices have also skyrocketed over the past year? In fact, the cost almost tripled!

At A Gracious Plenty we are keeping our prices as low as possible by keeping our overhead low, including our advertising costs.  We have found that the best advertising available is word of mouth referrals by our wonderful customers!

Behind the Scenes at A Gracious Plenty

During the past week we've been quietly expanding and updating our in-house studio where we create most of the personalized jewelry we offer at A Gracious Plenty.com.  We've added several new workbenches and reorganized our equipment (for engraving and hand-stamping our silver), added new lights and electrical capabilities, and added storage for our newest inventory.  Okay, perhaps not too exciting for you, our customers, but we are thrilled!  All of this means we'll be able to increase the number of designs in our collection, and complete jewelry pieces more efficiently (quickly!) for YOU, our dear customers and friends.

A Funny Thing Happened...

...on the way to the Market! 

In my last post, I shared my excitement about going to the semi-annual Gift & Home Products Market at Atlanta's AmericasMart.  Well, what is it they say about the best-laid plans?

Unfortunately, even my enthusiasm for attending the Market and scoping out new products could not overcome the 'bug' I woke up with last Saturday.  Without sharing too much information, let's just say I was "indisposed" for most of the weekend, and thus unable to attend the show...

But never fear!  As A Gracious Plenty is based in Atlanta, I have access to vendors (and their representatives) at the Mart all throughout the year.  In fact, now that I'm feeling 100%, I'm planning to go tomorrow to restock current inventory, and perhaps pick up a few new pieces.  Will I actually make it there this time?
