Behind the Scenes at A Gracious Plenty

During the past week we've been quietly expanding and updating our in-house studio where we create most of the personalized jewelry we offer at A Gracious Plenty.com.  We've added several new workbenches and reorganized our equipment (for engraving and hand-stamping our silver), added new lights and electrical capabilities, and added storage for our newest inventory.  Okay, perhaps not too exciting for you, our customers, but we are thrilled!  All of this means we'll be able to increase the number of designs in our collection, and complete jewelry pieces more efficiently (quickly!) for YOU, our dear customers and friends.

February flew right by!

Just realized that I haven't posted a single update yet this month - and today is my last chance before we say "Hello!" to March!  I know it's the shortest month of the year...but really, where did February go?! 

Once again I am thrilled and humbled by the level of your interest in our products, particularly our personalized jewelry, at A Gracious Plenty.  Our wonderful customers kept us busy this month with a record number of Valentine's Day orders, and we were more than happy to play Cupid's assistant! 

Since Valentine's Day, we've been busily expanding and updating our studio where all of or stamped silver jewelry is made and most of our engraved jewelry is done.  We've got a bit more work to do, a few finishing touches to add here and there, but already we're benefitting from the additional space and improved layout.

Valentine's Day is Less Than a Month Away!

As you know, our personalized gifts take a little bit of lead time to create and ship.  So I'm just going to gently, quietly, and respectfully remind you that

Valentine's Day

right around the corner!

For delivery by February 14th, our order deadline for jewelry (both hand stamped and engraved sterling silver) is Friday, February 6th. 

All of the other personalized gifts we offer (i.e., those made by our partner companies) will be completed and shipped in the time indicated on each respective product detail page.  Keep in mind that this means some of these will need to be ordered well before February 6th to be delivered by Valentine's Day!

A Funny Thing Happened...

...on the way to the Market! 

In my last post, I shared my excitement about going to the semi-annual Gift & Home Products Market at Atlanta's AmericasMart.  Well, what is it they say about the best-laid plans?

Unfortunately, even my enthusiasm for attending the Market and scoping out new products could not overcome the 'bug' I woke up with last Saturday.  Without sharing too much information, let's just say I was "indisposed" for most of the weekend, and thus unable to attend the show...

But never fear!  As A Gracious Plenty is based in Atlanta, I have access to vendors (and their representatives) at the Mart all throughout the year.  In fact, now that I'm feeling 100%, I'm planning to go tomorrow to restock current inventory, and perhaps pick up a few new pieces.  Will I actually make it there this time?

Off to Market!

Being based in Atlanta does have its perks...quite a few actually.  But twice a year, my favorite benefit is being located in the same city as the Atlanta AmericasMart.

The semi-annual Gift & Home Market is here again!  Vendors from all over the country (world?  I'm not sure!) come here to the AmericasMart each January and July to promote their wares to retailers like me, who come to find new and exciting products for their fabulous customers like you!
